Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the architecture, development, design, and maintenance of complex data pipelines, frameworks, and dashboards
- Build reporting solutions using DBT, SQL, Python, Claude.AI, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Integrate advanced AI solutions into reporting processes
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
- Implement AI and machine learning techniques for predictive and prescriptive insights
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Establish and enforce data integrity, accuracy, and governance best practices
- Mentor and train team members and stakeholders on reporting tools, analytical methods, and AI technologies
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the technical roadmap
- Present complex findings and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Lead data projects from conception through deployment
- Serve as a subject matter expert and technical escalation point for data analysis and reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Proven track record leading complex reporting and dashboard projects and delivering business intelligence solutions
- Expert proficiency in DBT, SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operationalizing AI solutions and machine learning algorithms
- Exceptional data analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic business insights
- Preferred: proven ability to lead technical initiatives, operate autonomously, collaborate in a team environment, and mentor junior colleagues
- Preferred: advanced proficiency in Python or R
- Preferred: expert-level SQL, Snowflake, and DBT skills
- Preferred: understanding and practical experience with data warehousing, ETL, data governance, Claude.AI, Copilot, and LLMs
- Master’s degree is a strong plus
