About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research potential new vendors when a need arises
- Facilitate onboarding, offboarding, and contractual renewals of all vendors
- Conduct due diligence reviews upon onboarding new critical vendors and annually thereafter
- Manage operational vendor performance
- Escalate and address vendor issues and facilitate remedial efforts when required
- Audit and oversee operational vendor usage to confirm compliance with client and Firm expectations and requirements
- Manage employee access to vendor systems
- Assign or provide training regarding vendor system usage
- Maintain and update internal SharePoint sites and lists
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
- Liaise between the Firm’s operational departments and operational vendors
- Complete tasks for the Compliance Department as directed by the Compliance Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- Some additional education is recommended
- Experience in the mortgage default industry preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to continual change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk while typing, using, and looking at a computer
