About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct industry, market, and company research to source prospect names and develop and refine prospect lists
- Develop project materials containing industry, market, company-specific, and general economic information
- Generate customized sales or project content for internal and external purposes
- Track calling and marketing efforts to clients and prospects
- Reinforce proper CRM system use with the coverage team and assist as needed
- Build understanding of the market, credit, products, and relationship management skills
- Facilitate financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit structure recommendations
- Perform prudent underwriting and credit and risk administration in accordance with credit policy and requirements
- Research and evaluate sources to assess client, competitor, property segment, market, and industry risks and trends
- Coordinate projects with assigned senior Credit Delivery leaders and mentor more junior teammates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Two years of related financial services work experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competitive drive and high work ethic, self-starter, team-oriented
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
- High level of adaptability and flexibility
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Some understanding of business
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred)
- Demonstrated work experience in finance or related field (preferred)
- English language fluency required
