Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and deliver enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions from concept through production
- Develop scalable AI solutions using Python, APIs, pipelines, and cloud AI services
- Build solutions for complex structured and unstructured information, including document intelligence, data extraction, and workflow automation
- Apply LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and prompt engineering to appropriate business use cases
- Build reusable AI frameworks, accelerators, components, and integration patterns that improve solution delivery
- Partner with engineering, product, architecture, security, and business teams to evaluate where AI is the right solution and design practical approaches for the enterprise environment
- Establish engineering practices across testing, security, software quality, scalability, and deployment
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and expand AI capabilities across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of relevant experience
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, APIs, pipelines, and modern software engineering practices
- Experience solving problems involving complex unstructured documents or data, including extraction methods, accuracy improvement, and solutions operating at scale
- Experience with LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks
- Experience with AI/ML platforms, MLOps, model lifecycle management, or AI governance
- Experience building reusable AI frameworks, accelerators, developer tools, or enterprise integrations
- Experience with cloud AI services, preferably Azure AI and/or Azure OpenAI
- Strong understanding of secure, scalable, production-quality software engineering
- Ability to provide technical leadership, consult across organizations, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry is preferred
- Must work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
