Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain robust Python services and applications serving high volumes of production traffic
- Own software throughout its lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and operation

Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong professional experience building and operating production software
- Advanced knowledge of Python
- Understanding of software design, testing, and engineering best practices
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building and operating services in distributed or microservices environments
- Experience with relational and/or document databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with Docker and containerised applications
- Understanding of production operations, observability, reliability, and performance
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and/or development agents in day-to-day software development
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on complex and ambiguous problems
- Ownership and accountability for software quality, security, and maintainability
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to collaborate across product, design, data, and engineering
- Ability to continuously improve software development practices, including AI-enabled techniques
- Ideally, experience with Kubernetes and AWS, Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code technologies, event-driven systems and messaging, LLM or AI integrations, globally distributed remote environments, and open-source projects
- Must be based or willing to relocate to Poland
- Must be able to work in Poland without right-to-work sponsorship
