About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate customer accounts for open lines of credit using credit bureau reports, credit references, 4imprint history, corporate account guidelines, and business information reports
- Handle incoming internal and external phone calls and emails regarding credit
- Manage the credit letter email bin and credit email bin
- Monitor all tabs in the Credit Control Launch Pad
- Follow up on Credit Fail or Committed orders
- Request cancellation of Credit Fail or Committed items over 30 days old from the sales team
- Process credit card transactions, including authorizations, charges, refunds, discrepancy investigations, and receipts
- Notify customers when credit cards are declined, rejected, or otherwise unacceptable
- Verify purchase order requirements from 4imprint customers
- Provide backup support to Accounting Claims
- Assist with processing and report reviewing as assigned by the manager
- Maintain current knowledge of role-related trends and updates
- Participate in training classes and pursue professional development
- Demonstrate 4imprint’s eight core principles in daily work
- Interact with 4imprint sales, collections, claims departments, and customers
- Report to the Credit Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–1 years of experience in a similar field
- Knowledge and/or experience in accounting-related functions
- Prior credit experience helpful
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Windows
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
- Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing
- Ability to enter data
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout employment
- Must meet the physical requirements of the role
- Must pass drug testing for marijuana (THC), cocaine metabolites, phencyclidine, amphetamines, and opiate metabolites
