About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop a functional team across people, payroll and time and attendance systems
  • Manage the delivery roadmap, resources, risks, reporting, budgets and vendor relationships
  • Partner with business product owners to prioritise demand against capacity and capability
  • Provide technical leadership and drive innovation and improved ways of working
  • Partner with People & Culture, Finance and Technology stakeholders to shape the roadmap and prioritise delivery
  • Ensure people and payroll solutions support business strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive technology delivery or project management experience across HCM, payroll or time and attendance systems
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll and HCM processes
  • Functional experience with Workday, SAP Payroll and Kronos, or similar platforms
  • Strong people leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience delivering complex solutions in a large, matrixed organisation
  • Successful completion of a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
  • Medical assessment if necessary
