Key responsibilities & impact- Support the EACN Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program with technical support for vulnerability order applicability, mitigation actions, network architecture engineering, and documentation
- Identify process improvement opportunities and eliminate manual toil through automation

- Create and maintain network and systems automation tools
- Automate provisioning and upgrades of network routers and switches
- Maintain and improve network CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and EVE-NG
- Build ad hoc Python scripts to interact with network APIs
- Automate lab environments and maintain test, development, and production environments
- Assist network and systems engineers with daily operational workflows
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation tools, pipelines, and network architecture changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align automation solutions with mission and security requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated pipelines, lab environments, and network infrastructure
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 3-5 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining automation tools/scripts for network and systems operations
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation, including interaction with network APIs
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and concepts, such as GitLab CI or similar platforms
- Experience with network simulation/emulation tools such as EVE-NG or similar virtualized lab environments
- Working knowledge of network router and switch provisioning, configuration, and upgrade processes
- Experience maintaining test, development, and production environments in a controlled, repeatable manner
- Understanding of IAVM processes, vulnerability mitigation, and network architecture documentation
- Preferred: experience supporting DoD SATCOM, airborne communications, C3 systems, GIG/A2G2 architectures, or Systems Integration Labs
- Preferred: GitLab CI/CD, IaC tools such as Ansible or Terraform, network configuration management/compliance tools, industry certifications, DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification or ability to obtain within 90 days, executive airlift or high-visibility DoD/USG communications experience, Agile/Scrum, and DevSecOps
