Key responsibilities & impact- Own the build, test, and release path for BWE’s custom applications and integrations
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates before production
- Package and deploy custom applications and internal tooling across environments, including versioning, rollback, and release documentation
- Provision and maintain development, test, and production environments, including configuration and secrets management
- Define infrastructure and platform state declaratively and deploy it through automated, peer-reviewed processes
- Establish and maintain Git workflow standards, including branching, pull request review, and release traceability
- Provide delivery paths for AI-developed applications, agents, integrations, and MCP connectors
- Support AI and Data teams in adopting source control, review, and deployment practices
- Integrate systems through REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven automation
- Implement code scanning, dependency, and software supply chain controls
- Instrument applications and pipelines with monitoring, alerting, and dashboards
- Produce change history, approval records, and deployment evidence for agency, rating agency, and client review
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation for owned pipelines, environments, and deployment tooling
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or software delivery, with hands-on responsibility for production deployments
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application code
- Strong proficiency with Git-based workflows, including branching, pull request review, and release tagging
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and declarative configuration management
- Strong automation ability in Python, PowerShell, or equivalent, including building against REST APIs
- Experience managing application environments, including secrets management and promotion between environments
- Experience deploying to Azure or an equivalent cloud platform
- Experience producing change and deployment records suitable for audit or compliance review
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
