Key responsibilities & impact- Lead project teams on highway projects
- Perform planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights-of-way coordination and management; and public safety work
- Lead and manage all phases of transportation projects
- Engage with clients and take responsibility for project pursuit and development
- Develop project scopes, budgets, plans, and schedules
- Interface with and maintain client relationships
- Assist on other assigned projects and work with other Arcadis offices
- Coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations
- Adhere to Arcadis quality and safety standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive highway design experience for a State Department of Transportation or local municipality, including project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP considered with relevant work/industry experience
- Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams
- Progressive highway design experience, including project management experience on roadway design projects
- Tennessee PE license or ability to obtain
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations
