Key responsibilities & impact- Lead multiple concurrent IT/IAM projects from initiation through delivery
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
- Facilitate collaboration among technical, security, business, and compliance teams
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
- Apply Agile and traditional project management methodologies
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies through reports and presentations to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Drive project meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Manage resource allocation and sequence work to optimize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks
- Ensure project documentation, including requirements, designs, and test plans, is complete and current
- Capture lessons learned and recommend process enhancements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5+ years of project management experience in IT environments, with at least 2 years focused on IAM or security-related projects
- Demonstrated expertise managing complex, multi-team projects with parallel workstreams and interdependencies
- Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices, including provisioning, authentication, SSO, RBAC, and PAM
- Proven experience with risk management and mitigation in IT projects
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and traditional project management frameworks
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Certified Scrum Master or Agile certification preferred
- Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, and Ping Identity preferred
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare preferred
- Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, or PCI DSS as they relate to IAM preferred
