Key responsibilities & impact- Direct and manage delivery of projects from beginning to end, including creation of the Project Charter and Project Plan
- Lead team calls and track tasks and issues in an Action Log
- Track milestones and deliverables
- Perform risk management and contingency planning
- Conduct lessons learned meetings at the end of projects
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Set and continually manage project expectations
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; in a technical field, healthcare field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 5–7 years of project management experience in healthcare or business with significant portions managing IT projects or technology deployment projects
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 5+ years previous work experience in project support of similar experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages
- Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
- Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments
- Proven history of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Team player who works well collaboratively and learns quickly
- Detail-oriented; ability to exhaust all resources when troubleshooting issues
- Customer-focused approach
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving skills; ownership and follow-through on multiple issue types
