Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and perform upgrades of Baxter Care Communications products
- Perform site assessments
- Upgrade applications on servers and proprietary devices/hardware
- Configure system networks
- Work with customers’ IT teams to understand environmental variables and complete upgrades
- Drive detailed technical discussions with internal teams and third-party partners regarding complex integrations

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required, or a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience in software and/or networking fields plus two listed certifications
- Minimum 4 years of equivalent software and/or networking experience when used in lieu of the degree, plus two listed certifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in two or more of: SQL, scripting, reporting engines/analytics, networking, enterprise-level hardware, middleware, HL7, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, or enterprise wireless networks
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows platforms, SQL, IIS server, and other networked systems
- Advanced understanding of deploying and supporting Linux-based platforms, including Kubernetes, and associated networked systems
- Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP, IP routing, the OSI model, VLANs, client/server networking environments, managed switches, VoIP, and network security
- Knowledge of WiFi wireless technologies with security protocols
- Basic VoIP and/or PBX telephony knowledge and configuration experience
- Experience configuring, setting up, and debugging Windows- and Linux-based systems
- Preferred certifications include CompTIA Network+, CCNA or higher, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA ITF, CompTIA A+, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or LPI Linux Essentials
