About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in the field alongside farmers, bringing biological innovation to agriculture.
- Act as a link between BIOTROP and farmers, generating demand and turning technical knowledge into business opportunities.
- Develop the crop protection market by identifying new customers and generating qualified sales opportunities for the distribution partner.
- Understand farmers’ needs, provide technical support, and recommend BIOTROP solutions.
- Conduct demonstration plots and trials in partnership with Marketing, analyzing data and sharing insights.
- Participate in product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Support channel enablement, product positioning, and technical training for the partner’s sales team.
- Represent BIOTROP at trade shows, events, conferences, and field days throughout the country.
- Build relationships with farmers, distributors, consultants, and influencers in the agricultural sector.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field.
- Relevant educational backgrounds include Agriculture, Biology, Business Administration, and related disciplines.
- Experience in agricultural sales or consulting/technical support within the agricultural sector is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid Category B driver’s license.
