Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, supervise, and manage multiple large and complex healthcare projects
- Lead proposal efforts, including project scoping, prioritization, and stakeholder identification
- Determine project scope, size, and stakeholder requirements
- Develop and manage scope change control processes
- Complete project charters and obtain stakeholder approvals
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks
- Enforce project standards and conduct quality assurance and risk assessment reviews
- Recommend and implement courses of action for project issues and concerns
- Build, execute, and revise project plans through formal change control
- Establish and oversee project expenditures and budgets
- Collaborate with financial stakeholders to maintain financial and regulatory compliance
- Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines
- Manage changing priorities, unexpected occurrences, and end-user and management expectations
- Address security, privacy, and system stability issues with relevant departments
- Measure and report project effectiveness, value capture, outcomes, and success metrics
- Present project information to senior leadership
- Communicate with physicians, executives, managers, clinical teams, and other staff
- Analyze user needs, define system requirements, and develop documentation

Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading complex projects in healthcare, managed care, quality improvement, or population health
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills, including developing project plans, facilitating meetings, tracking milestones, managing risks, and driving accountability for results
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting information and preparing executive-level summaries
- Experience analyzing operational or healthcare-related data to identify trends, support decision-making, and develop actionable recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development
- Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
- Experience working within managed care
- Bachelor's degree
- Preferred: minimum 3 years of experience supporting quality improvement, HEDIS, accreditation, regulatory compliance, value-based care, or population health initiatives within a health plan or healthcare organization
- Preferred: experience using data analytics to evaluate program performance, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate results to leadership
- Preferred: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CPHQ, or other relevant certification
- Preferred: experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or government-sponsored healthcare programs
- Preferred: familiarity with healthcare reporting tools, data visualization platforms, and performance management methodologies
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience can be considered
