Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for AI Skills for America and Verizon Innovative Learning HQ
- Provide technical governance and matrixed project leadership across internal engineering teams, vendors, and technical resources
- Oversee SDLC execution, systems engineering alignment, platform security, and sprint delivery
- Drive technical roadmaps and release delivery, including enterprise enhancements and BAU updates
- Translate business needs into technical specifications with UX, Product, and GTS engineering teams
- Ensure scalability, reliability, dependency mapping, and risk management across cloud platforms
- Serve as primary technical liaison and subject matter expert for internal teams and external partners
- Navigate governance and compliance approvals for Privacy, Ethics, Security, Accessibility, and Global Clearance
- Lead vendor management, capital budgets, sourcing contracts, procurement pipelines, and monthly financial tracking
- Facilitate story mapping, daily GTS grooming, UAT calls, and executive status reporting
- Direct data strategy and impact tracking through analytics integrations and executive dashboards
- Champion platform enhancements using competitive analysis, analytics, and customer feedback
- Lead project execution and resource allocation, defining scope, plans, milestones, and budget controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
- Proven track record delivering complex, end-to-end technical programs and multi-stakeholder digital platforms or software applications
- Experience leading technical change management, operational readiness, and process alignment across cross-functional enterprise teams
- Experience with engineering teams, release management, Agile delivery methods, story mapping, grooming, UAT, and cross-platform integrations
- Ability to influence without authority across a large enterprise
- Experience managing technical intake, vendor SOW reviews, and enterprise Security, Privacy, and Accessibility sign-offs
- Experience advising senior leaders on technical strategy and translating engineering roadmaps into executive-level updates, decision frameworks, and recommendations
- Experience managing technical project budgets, vendor SOWs and milestones, and resource allocations
- PMP or Certified Scrum Master certification preferred
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and solution architecture principles
- Experience leading technical change management in large, highly matrixed enterprise organizations
- Experience managing external vendor technical deliverables, SOW reviews, and procurement pipelines
- Background in EdTech, AI/skills training tools, or social impact digital products at scale
- Familiarity with data analytics integration, customer feedback loops, and executive KPI dashboarding
