Key responsibilities & impact- Manage projects within the IPP Business for Motor Control Center Hardware Engineering Design, third-party purchased items, and post-shipment engineering services
- Lead engineering resources responsible for design and implementation of complex projects
- Establish and manage project schedules, including forecasting
- Conduct regular project status meetings
- Manage scope of supply and process required change orders
- Maintain order margins
- Monitor designs against applicable codes, customer specifications, and design practices
- Initiate, plan, implement, control, and close projects
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, communications, and customer satisfaction
- Lead technical teams through design, implementation, and testing phases
- Interface with sales, vendors, consultants, contractors, OEMs, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal business functions
- Report and control total project costs using SAP, ensuring costs match scope and reflect change orders
- Define and monitor business and industry standards
- Review applications, evaluate risks, and develop mitigation plans
- Coordinate customer shipping requirements and obtain shipping release
- Work with post-shipment support to resolve field complaints
- Develop product knowledge of motor control centers and associated products
- Develop application knowledge of Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, and Food and Beverage industries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 10% of the time
- Typically requires 5+ years of related experience in Project Management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- Engineering or project management experience with industrial controls
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or willingness to become certified
- Previous industrial controls experience
- Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) Motor Control Centers
- Lean Six Sigma background (yellow belt, green belt, black belt)
- Experience with advanced Excel and knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Power Apps
