About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create and implement treatment plans
- Complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes, according to company policy
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team
- Use creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session according to company guidelines and protocol
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client visits per week for full-time status clinicians
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Required licensure in the state of New Jersey: LAC, LAMFT, LSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
- Experience completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- 16 hours of weekly evening and/or weekend availability during the first few weeks while building a caseload
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Health Record systems; Valant experience a plus
- Experience with children aged under 7, play therapy, and family systems a plus
- Full-time clinicians must maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client visits per week
