Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, technology entrepreneurship, computer science, informatics, statistics, applied mathematics, data science or related field
- 1+ years relevant work experience
- Achieved, or be working towards, a professional designation such as CFE, CFCE, RCA or EnCE
- Effective project and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize when working on multiple engagements
- Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- Reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites
- Experience in large-scale, complex investigations using digital forensics, log analysis and timeline creation
- Ability to communicate technical events and analysis to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Ability to preserve network and host-based digital evidence in a forensically sound manner
- Experience with host-based digital forensics on Microsoft Windows and Mac systems using Windows and Linux forensic tools
- Experience with mobile-based digital forensics on Apple and Android systems
- In-depth understanding of computer forensic principles, cloud-based systems, database structures, querying languages and digital forensics tools
- Knowledge of data loss prevention systems and insider threat risks
- Knowledge of Windows, Unix, Mac, mobile operating systems and command line
- Working knowledge of hardware configuration, network/data communications, software development, scripting and database technology
- Experience with evidence seizure, chain of custody and analysis
