Key responsibilities & impact- Configure new and existing Salesforce administration features, including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, approval processes, and flows.
- Support Marketing Cloud Engagement users across the organisation, managing data extensions, SQL and SOQL queries, contact segmentation, and audience creation for targeted campaigns.
- Support other systems as required, including FormAssembly, API integrations, and DocuSign.
- Provide ongoing technical support to Frontline’s 100+ Salesforce users and resolve staff challenges promptly and completely.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify, drive, and build system improvements, enhancements, and customisations.
- Recommend ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, while keeping up to date with software releases, features, and best practices.
- Ensure data quality and compliance within Marketing Cloud by maintaining subscriber data, managing preferences, and supporting GDPR best practices.
- Support integration and data flow between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, troubleshooting issues and ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Translate campaign requirements into technical builds, including personalisation, dynamic content, and automation.
- Contribute to Marketing Cloud documentation and best-practice guidelines.
- Assist with user support and training related to Marketing Cloud functionality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years comprehensive experience in a dedicated Salesforce Administrator role, with responsibility for Salesforce administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Experience managing Marketing Cloud data: data extensions, segmentation, audience selection and list imports.
- Experience managing customer consent and preferences, in line with GDPR requirements.
- Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM (Marketing Cloud Connect), including managing synchronised data and troubleshooting sync issues.
- Working knowledge of SQL and SOQL and experience with Automation Studio.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation using Salesforce Flow, including debugging and optimising existing flows.
- Knowledge of Salesforce upcoming releases and features.
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Administrator certification.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Administrator (previously Salesforce Administrator).
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas to those with less expertise.
- Ability to identify and prioritise requirements across the organisation and communicate these appropriately.
- Curious and keen to ask questions and not reach for the easy answer.
