About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs
- Develop test scenarios and support testing
- Serve as an embedded Scrum team member supporting developers and testers throughout each sprint
- Own and prioritize the product backlog
- Validate that delivered features provide measurable business value and align with the product vision
- Support development teams during build, testing, deployment, and hyper care phases
- Maintain product documentation, workflows, and release notes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Implement and integrate SAP IBP solutions with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments
- Define, design, and deliver digital products supporting SIOP/SIOE planning processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of total SAP experience, including 5+ years of hands-on SAP IBP experience
- Strong experience with SAP IBP Demand, Supply, and Inventory modules
- Experience integrating SAP IBP with ECC and/or S/4HANA using CPI-DS, SDI, or CI-DS
- In-depth understanding of supply chain planning, forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization
- Ability to configure planning areas, key figures, attributes, time profiles, and master data
- Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Excel UI and Fiori Launchpad
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management capabilities
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar technical role
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solution designs
- Experience with enterprise applications, data flows, and system behaviour
- Willingness to work in Bangalore or Pune, India
- Willingness to work flexible hours aligned with client time zones
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or an equivalent field is a bonus
- SAP IBP certification is a bonus
- Exposure to SAP APO, SNP, BW, or other legacy planning tools is a bonus
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices is a bonus
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or CPG domains is a bonus
- Knowledge of data modeling, analytics, or reporting within SAP IBP is a bonus
