Key responsibilities & impact- Support software integration activities for multiple programs
- Ensure seamless collaboration across teams
- Implement and manage DevSecOps practices to enhance software development and deployment processes
- Utilize ClearCase, Bitbucket, and Git for configuration management, code integrity, and version control
- Utilize Bitbucket, GitHub, Bamboo, SonarQube, Coverity, and Black Duck for CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and security
- Develop and maintain Python, PowerShell, and Batch scripts, as well as Makefiles, for automation and efficiency
- Upgrade AeroSPS infrastructure to a modern and sustainable DevOps framework
- Support digitization of metrics and health monitoring for infrastructure and build systems
- Lead and support employee development, retention, engagement, recruiting, successor identification, and inclusive culture initiatives as a people leader
- Report to the Senior Engineering Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevSecOps
- Strong knowledge of configuration management systems including ClearCase, Atlassian BitBucket, and Git
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Batch, along with experience in Makefile
- Demonstrated ability to lead integration activities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- U.S. Person requirement: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or ability to obtain export authorization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with compiler and linker options and embedded development
- Experience with software development best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
