About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support control and oversight of project scheduling, cost management, and earned value principles
- Support program launch and execution
- Develop initial program baselines
- Prepare and analyze internal cost report data
- Manage estimate at completion (EAC) for assigned programs
- Follow baseline change management processes
- Ensure cost and schedule integration
- Communicate with integrated program teams
- Apply earned value management knowledge and procedures
- Perform data analytics using Program Management processes
- Provide feedback on tools and process efficiencies
- Participate in organizational initiatives
- Assist with guiding new Specialists and team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years of experience in business analytics
- Required to attain CAPM certification within 6 months of start date
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- U.S. person requirement: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or individual with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
- Degree in Business, Math, Finance or Economics or related field
- Experience as Program Controls Specialist
- User experience of SAP system
- Experience in financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management
- Experience using Earned Value metrics, managing budgets and milestone fidelity
- Project Management certification
- Cost reporting experience: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR
- Integrated Master Schedule experience with Microsoft Project and SSI Tool
