About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders
- Support development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project progress and resolve issues
- Monitor project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Contribute to risk mitigation and project success
- Enhance stakeholder transparency and collaboration
- Work under and report directly to the Engineering Manager
- Support recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Experience in project engineering or related roles
- Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering processes
- Familiarity with project management tools and software to support scheduling and resource tracking
- Knowledge of engineering documentation and quality standards relevant to assigned projects
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
- Advanced degrees in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Internship or co-op experience in engineering projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies
