Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions
- Develop and support front-end and back-end application components
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal performance
- Perform code reviews and follow established software engineering best practices and coding standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation

- Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of software engineering, application development, or related experience
- Experience developing both front-end and back-end applications
- Experience with JavaScript and modern web development technologies
- Experience working within Agile software development environments
- Experience with software design, development, testing, and production support
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
