Key responsibilities & impact- Apply the latest AI, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning algorithms to build customer-centric solutions
- Modify and advance state-of-the-art Computer Vision approaches to deliver best-in-class solutions
- Optimize the run-time performance of Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms to meet customer requirements across various hardware platforms
- Partner with Engineers, Data Scientists, Designers, and Program Managers to deliver solid technical designs
- Support Microsoft's Spectre team advancing Geospatial AI
- Develop foundation models for aerial object detection, tracking, and map generation
- Contribute to an end-to-end AI platform turning petabytes of data into accurate geospatial insights for mission customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, required
- Proven experience in data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering, OR equivalent experience
- Data modeling experience required
- Experience with C++/Python and debugging ability across technology stacks
- Experience in Deep Learning using frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience shipping Computer Vision or Machine Learning based runtimes
- Practical experience working with geospatial workflows or datasets
- Must have an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance; TS/SCI preferred but not required
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of this government contract
- Candidate must be able to function in general office environment
