About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide various electroencephalogram studies, including Routine, Sleep Deprived, and LTM EEG, as ordered by a physician
- Serve patients from adult to geriatric age
- Act as a super-user/system administrator for the digital EEG system and long-term EEG monitoring systems
- Maintain digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems
- Clip long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space
- Obtain patient history from the medical record
- Document information in the digital EEG system
- Ensure patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of one year adult experience is preferred and must be in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of digital EEG systems is preferred
- ABRET pathways considered
- High school education required
- Must qualify for ABRET registry examination under at least ONE current ABRET pathway
- BLS
- Board eligible via ABRET pathway
- R.EEG.T Registry within two years of hire
