About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support to the Area Manager in operations, service coordination, and decision-making
- Take responsibility for the availability of the assigned wind farms
- Prepare and maintain availability reports for customers
- Analyze wind turbine defects and derive technical and organizational measures
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inspection activities with internal service teams and external service providers
- Coordinate and document the resolution of defect lists from maintenance activities, warranty inspections, and comparable assessments
- Conduct spot checks in service warehouses, including supporting inventory counts and clarifying discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines
- Conduct regular checks during operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical vocational training, ideally with an electrical engineering background or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a service technician and/or in a coordinating technical role, ideally in the wind energy sector
- Excellent technical understanding of wind turbines
- Systematic and structured approach to problem-solving
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Consistent implementation of safety standards
- Strong customer, team, and results orientation
- Strong documentation and quality assurance skills
