Key responsibilities & impact- Source and procure various commodities across multiple programs
- Initiate Requests for Quotation
- Analyze supplier proposals and perform price analysis and negotiations
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, company policies, business policies, and import/export regulations
- Work independently
- Solve problems and find creative solutions
- Review, reconcile, and approve supplier invoices
- Interface and collaborate with Programs and organizations within and outside Global Supply Chain
- Plan, schedule, arrange, and execute activities to accomplish objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, or Operations, OR Master's degree and 1 year of experience
- In lieu of degree, an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Experience with SAP/CostPoint ERP System preferred
- Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry preferred
- Experience with FAR/DFAR preferred
- U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
