Key responsibilities & impact- Build and ship well-defined features and bug fixes across the full stack, focusing on SQL Server queries and stored procedures powering .NET Core APIs and React interfaces
- Follow best practices for code quality, testing, source control, and deployment workflows
- Own work through launch and beyond, addressing bugs, regressions, slow queries, and open questions

Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in software development, whether professional, internship, academic, or personal projects
- A BS degree, or equivalent professional experience or certifications
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, including T-SQL, joins, stored procedures, indexes, and reading execution plans
- Working knowledge of C# and .NET Core, including building or consuming REST APIs
- A working understanding of full-stack development and how data flows from a SQL Server database through a .NET Core API to a React front end
- A foundational understanding of data structures and algorithms
- A basic understanding of source code management such as Git and deployment tools
- A track record of contributing to the delivery of a feature or project, and the ability to clearly describe your role in it
- A sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of your work
- A collaborative approach to working with other engineers, product managers, and QA, including openness to feedback
- An understanding of the responsibility that comes with building healthcare software, and of the importance of protecting PHI and other sensitive customer information
