About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leverage a deep knowledge of data science, data engineering and statistics best practices to ensure that the most applicable solutions are developed.
- Complete advanced analysis of the company’s customer and business data.
- Nurture solutions through the whole chain: problem, ideation, data sourcing, experimentation, development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Manage and mentor data scientists with in-depth technical oversight to foster their development and a positive, learning team environment while ensuring all work meets expected quality and performance.
- Provide team management and oversight.
- Lead model development, deployment, and evaluation.
- Meet with and advise stakeholders.
- Solve operational challenges with dependent business units.
- Source, clean, and understand data in collaboration with the data management group.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 years of demonstrated business impact through the conception, delivery, and scaling of machine learning and other analytic approaches, including machine learning and big data.
- 2+ years managing and mentoring other data scientists and analysts
- 2 years of consulting or leadership experience as a data scientist
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working on an Agile development team
