About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide advanced service and consultation for customer food sanitation applications
  • Troubleshoot and optimize customer applications while maintaining quality standards
  • Support new installations and equipment calibrations, including remote monitoring and feeding technology
  • Service mechanical installations and ensure performance and reliability of pumps, piping, chemical feed systems, storage tanks, and connected systems
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers and key stakeholders alongside the sales account manager
  • Deliver customer technical training
  • Identify new business opportunities and transfer sales leads to sales teams
  • Prepare comprehensive customer service reports using company policies and tools
  • Maintain company-owned tools, instruments, safety equipment, and vehicle
  • Complete administrative requirements and basic skills/safety training
  • Manage inventory and supplies at customer sites
  • Deliver service KPIs, including safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure safe operating conditions according to company and customer policies and procedures
  • Perform similar or related duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance, sanitation, food plant industry related experience required
  • Expert level knowledge of food and beverage sanitation fundamentals, practices, and terminology
  • Clean in place experience (CIP) highly desired
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Deep knowledge base in cooling, boiler, wastewater and food sanitation
  • Proficient in the use of monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Able to build professional customer presentations using MS Office tools
  • CRM software proficiency
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Planning, priority setting, and time management
  • Ability to work autonomously and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Quality and detail oriented
  • Teamwork and transparency in communication
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Capability to move up to 60 lbs. by hand and 300 lbs. with use of a hand truck
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
