About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
- Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations
- Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity
- Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible
- Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution
- Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos
- Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements
- Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs
- May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs
- May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage
Requirements
What you’ll need- Local candidate to the specific geographic area
- One (1) or more years of related experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- At least 19 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
- Ability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged travel with several hours of driving per day
- Ability to work rotating and weekend shifts
- Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements manipulating objects of various sizes
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification are preferred
- Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
