About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Intake and efficiently process loan applications submitted by loan officers in the nCino loan origination platform
- Onboard customer information into SouthState Bank’s core operating system in compliance with bank policy and banking regulations
- Identify key financial data from corporate and consumer financial statements and/or tax returns
- Order and review personal and business credit reports
- Route loan applications to the BLE Centralized Review team for final review
- Communicate with BLE Reviewers
- Provide quality and World Class Service to internal and external customers
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma
- Previous banking experience preferred
- Working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office, and other departmental software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and employee information
- Ability to work independently and multitask at a faster-than-average pace
- Knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation
- Basic language skills to write and speak clearly and effectively to business standards
- Ability to make sound decisions, recognize potential problems, and take corrective action
- Well-organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Secure, distraction-free home office environment
- Reliable private internet connection not supplied by cellular data/hotspot
- Must complete annual compliance training and New Employee Orientation
