About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the technical counterpart on pre-sale deals
- Qualify opportunities, determine use-case requirements, explain integration scope, and identify product gaps
- Own technical design during proof-of-concept phases
- Establish use cases and requirements, clear blockers, and enable customers to test integrations and interpret results
- Coordinate payer list matching and run insurance discovery batch tests
- Share and interpret test results so customers understand expected outcomes
- Drive customers to expected transaction volume on the expected timeline
- Build migration plans, track actual volume against sold volume, and identify and resolve processing-error root causes
- Build feature overviews, positioning and talk tracks, demos, best-practice writeups, and qualification criteria
- Answer technical functionality questions for customer-facing teams or locate the appropriate expert
- Represent customer needs to Product by writing one-pagers, shaping requirements, and co-owning a customer-driven feature backlog
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience using and integrating APIs
- Familiarity with JSON, X12, and other flat file formats
- Proactive customer support based on customer data and ramp progress
- Product mindset and ability to articulate product gaps and customer requirements
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Subject matter expertise in revenue cycle management or willingness to learn
- Ability to understand eligibility checks, claims submission, claim status, and ERA reconciliation, or willingness to learn
- Resourceful, self-motivated, self-disciplined, and willing to put in the hours
- Ability to manage many open threads simultaneously; highly responsive, organized, and thorough
- Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced organization
