Key responsibilities & impact- Develop SQL queries, Python/PySpark routines, and data pipelines in Databricks.
- Build data models, DAX measures, and automation processes.
- Monitor data quality, document business rules, and propose improvements to performance indicators.
- Develop dashboards, management reports, and IT KPIs using Power BI.
- Extract, cleanse, integrate, and analyze data from different sources.
- Collaborate with technical teams and managers, translating data into strategic insights for decision-making.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture.
- Advanced experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and complex queries.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data quality, and IT governance.
- Experience with indicators, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Preferred: knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and DataOps.
- Preferred: experience with APIs, ITSM tools, and data governance.
- Preferred: postgraduate degree or certifications in Data, BI, Cloud, or IT Governance.
