About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
- Provide patient education
- Deliver holistic, individualized care to patients in the assigned area
- Develop, implement, and coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care

Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- Two years recent relevant experience
- Stepdown PCU experience preferred (1 year or more)
- Cardiology experience preferred (1 year or more)
- General knowledge and competence in nursing theories, concepts and practices, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, patient-care best practices and privacy, and local/state/federal regulations
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook) and Electronic Health Record applications
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an interruption-rich environment
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
- Ability to ensure patient protected health information (PHI) privacy
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers
- Weekend availability as needed
