Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the architecture, modernization, and delivery of an enterprise Document Management Platform powered by AI, Intelligent Document Processing, Generative AI, and Enterprise Search
- Provide technical leadership for end-to-end architecture and development of the Enterprise Document Management Platform

- Champion Generative AI, Large Language Models, GitHub Copilot, and emerging AI technologies across the software development lifecycle
- Lead cloud modernization initiatives on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, including legacy application transformation
- Partner with business, product, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of relevant experience
- Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems
- Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development
- Kafka and event-driven architecture
- PostgreSQL and enterprise data platforms
- Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), including OCR, document classification, metadata and entity extraction
- AI Search & Retrieval, including Semantic Search, Vector Search, Hybrid Search, Embeddings, and RAG
- Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
- CI/CD, Secure Software Development, Observability, Production Support, and Technical Leadership
- Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
