About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis and accurate financial reporting
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigating discrepancies and ensuring reporting accuracy
- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual corporate tax filings
- Oversee the payroll process for Uline’s Canada operations, ensuring accurate processing, thorough audits and compliance
- Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting workflows and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with teams across Uline on financial analysis, reporting and business insights that support informed decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA designation
- 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday a plus
- Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams
- Must work on-site
- Must work at Uline’s Milton facility
