Key responsibilities & impact- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Develop highly available and fault-tolerant solutions using regional redundancy, availability zones, and disaster recovery practices
- Evaluate workload sizing, cloud compute requirements, and infrastructure optimization opportunities
- Lead cloud networking architecture for hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises integration
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and transformation across enterprise environments
- Design and implement routing, segmentation, connectivity, DNS, and traffic management solutions
- Establish secure connectivity between cloud providers, enterprise data centers, and third-party platforms
- Troubleshoot and optimize application and network traffic across cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud provisioning
- Implement cloud security best practices and support threat mitigation, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives
- Partner with application teams, architects, and security engineers on scalable cloud deployments
- Provide technical leadership during architecture reviews, troubleshooting, and cloud adoption initiatives
- Develop architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and engineering standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship is required upon hire
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of infrastructure, networking, and cloud engineering experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, DNS, routing, firewall design, and network security
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud deployments in highly available environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, and security teams in complex enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud compute architecture, workload sizing, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, cloud-native networking, availability zones, regional resiliency, disaster recovery, fault-tolerant architectures, cloud service integration, application traffic troubleshooting, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Hands-on Azure expertise including VNet, UDR, NSG, ILB, Azure DNS, NVA, ExpressRoute, BGP, Global VNet Peering, APIM, Application Gateway, Function Apps with VNet Integration, Azure Data Lake, Private DNS Zones, DNS Proxy Architectures, Azure Firewall, VWAN, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, and Load Balancers
- Hands-on OCI expertise including VCN, Route Tables, LPG, DRG, route redistribution, inter-region traffic steering, Layer 4/7 Load Balancers, Private DNS, NVA, FastConnect, BGP, RPC, Service Gateway, IAM, Compartments, Landing Zone Architecture, Oracle Databases, GoldenGate, and OCI AI/ML Services
- Preferred: Experience with Equinix Fabric, Network Edge, cloud on-ramp architectures, BYOC, service provider-grade BGP, overlay/underlay networks, Palo Alto platforms, Imperva solutions, Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Infoblox
