Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from initiation through implementation, adoption, and transition to sustained ownership
- Partner with executive sponsors and functional leaders to define business problems, strategic outcomes, scope, success measures, and decision rights
- Develop and execute integrated project plans covering workstreams, milestones, dependencies, resources, finances, and change impacts
- Establish and lead program governance, executive steering committees, sponsor reviews, decision forums, workstream cadences, and escalation pathways
- Align Operations, Technology, Finance, Commercial, Product, People, and other business functions around enterprise priorities
- Drive accountability for deliverables, commitments, decisions, and interdependencies
- Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and organizational readiness requirements
- Manage scope and change and assess impacts on outcomes, timelines, investment, resources, operating model, and benefits realization
- Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, recommendations, and decision materials
- Monitor initiative health, milestones, resource utilization, budget performance, KPIs, and expected business benefits
- Support enterprise portfolio planning and prioritization through delivery data, capacity insights, sequencing recommendations, and tradeoff analysis
- Lead stakeholder engagement and change-management activities to promote adoption and sustainable ownership
- Advance Enterprise PMO governance standards, templates, methodologies, portfolio reporting, and delivery best practices
- Coach project managers and workstream leaders on planning, risk management, executive communication, and delivery discipline
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current PMP certification required and maintained according to PMI requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of progressive project or program management experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic or enterprise initiatives from initiation through closure
- Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and make sound decisions with incomplete information
- Experience establishing project governance, executive reporting, and decision-making forums for high-visibility initiatives
- Strong command of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, complex dependencies, resource constraints, and competing enterprise priorities
- Strong business acumen evaluating delivery tradeoffs, resource needs, financial impacts, and business benefits
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
- Preferred: PMI-ACP, PgMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification
- Preferred: experience supporting enterprise transformation, operating model design, technology-enabled change, M&A integration, or process optimization initiatives
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, life sciences, financial services, technology, or other complex regulated environments
- Prefer candidates able to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy
- Successful completion of a background check and, depending on position, a drug screen
