Key responsibilities & impact- Lead key Divisional NPI programs with cross-functional teams to deliver new products
- Collaborate with business management, stakeholders, and project team members to refine project scope
- Oversee development of complete project plans
- Create a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and success with the team, customers, and stakeholders
- Mentor existing and potential future team leaders
- Conduct project leadership skills training as needed
- Identify and implement improvements to NPI processes to accelerate launches and commercialization
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
- Contribute to 3M’s Environmental Health and Safety culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement
- Travel up to 10% domestically/internationally may be required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, completed and verified prior to start
- Eight (8) years of experience in a product development, engineering or commercialization role, with project leadership experience
- Four (4) years of Project Management skills and expertise, including potentially PMP, Agile, SCRUM, Six Sigma, PPU, and DOE/statistical analysis
- Proven record of driving technology/products to commercialization
- Business acumen and ability to work with business and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders, champions, and team members
- Understanding of 3M materials, technologies, and processes
- Understanding of 3M NPI systems and corporate tools
- Ability to motivate, develop, and coach team personnel
- PMP Certification
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship
