About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the delivery of commercial and residential land development projects from inception to completion
- Prepare design reports and analyses
- Perform code searches
- Create complete sets of contract documents
- Prepare technical drawings, including Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate project phases
- Provide construction services, including site visits and reviewing shop drawings
- Prepare stormwater calculations
- Assist in completing permits
- Review local, county, state, and federal project codes
- Coordinate with Ware Malcomb consultants, client consultants, clients, and contractors to produce coordinated contract documents and specifications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience within the Civil Engineering field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required
- A PE (Professional Engineering) license preferred
- Experience working on land / site development projects
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills preferred
- Excellent written and verbal skills including public speaking
