About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide medical supervisory services for APPs, as necessary for the treatment of patients, including chart reviews as directed by the Company
- Complete paperwork necessary to supervise/collaborate with the maximum number of APPs allowable under the physician's license in the state of licensure
- Promote the professional practice of the Company as permitted by law and professional ethics
- Cooperate and assist with indigent or charity care policies
- Participate in surveys, quality improvement, quality assessment, chart reviews, utilization control, peer review, and credentialing activities
- Comply with and actively participate in quality improvement programs and peer review activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board certification in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine
- Licensed in the state of practice
- Have DEA in the state of practice
- Able to work well in team environment
- Strong “Crucial Conversation” skills
