About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process sales invoices
- Use the internal platform to generate customer invoices
- Convert multi-currency transactions at relevant rates
- Map platform data to accounting format before uploading into NetSuite for invoice generation
- Build and manage separate invoicing for customers with bespoke requirements
- Create supporting invoice documentation
- Onboard new customers
- Perform credit checks on new prospects and liaise with Sales
- Arrange credit insurance
- Scope requirements for non-standard invoicing processes
- Maintain the dunning tool for automated payment reminders
- Review and analyze accounts receivable aging weekly
- Liaise with Account Managers to help chase debts
- Collaborate with FinOps to resolve customer queries blocking payment
- Own end-to-end processing of supplier invoices for customs charges and rebilling to customers
- Prepare revenue accruals for monthly management accounts
- Manage a team of two Accounts Receivable Assistants
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in a fast-moving Accounts Receivable team
- Prior management experience
- Good knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including dealing with large datasets
- Experience extracting data from BI tools
- Ability to deal in multiple currencies
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive attitude
- Good communication skills
- NetSuite knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
