About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and inspect tools and equipment used during projects
- Operate light construction equipment in varied weather conditions and geographical locations
- Operate equipment professionally and safely
- Support remedial excavation and remedial system installations
- Support demolition and general light equipment and labor tasks
- Serve as a key field crew member on field implementation projects
- Collaborate with staff and project teams
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and decrease turnaround times
- Work cooperatively to provide value and quality service
- Travel to client project sites across the United States
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in environmental construction and remediation
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to travel to project sites as needed, up to 100% travel
- Read and implement field plans
- Able to pass proficiency tests with a variety of wheeled and tracked heavy equipment
- Willing to travel as needed, including single overnight trips
- Able to pass a medical exam
- Medically cleared to wear a negative pressure respirator
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment throughout an 8-hour shift
- Preferred: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to pass HAZWOPER training upon hire
- Preferred: OSHA 30-hour certification
- PVC and HDPE pipe fitting skills
- Light Equipment Operator experience
