About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
- Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
- Draft, update, and review processes and procedures supporting business and regulatory agency requirements.
- Support other teams as instructed to meet engineering commitments.
- Work with SAP service notifications, orders/quotes, purchase requisitions, and requests for assistance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain material masters and quote backup sheets to define and document as-built configuration.
- Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
- Address engineering and technical requests and develop and implement solutions.
- Provide engineering data and support to airlines, operators, BGS Supply Chain, and other Boeing teams for spare parts operations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 year related work experience.
- Upper-intermediate level of English.
- Solid understanding and ability to read technical drawings.
- Good understanding of main principle units of aircraft.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- Fluency in manufacturing engineering technology and familiarity with common aerospace manufacturing processes, including metals, non-metallics, and composites.
- Familiarity with the main principles of working with databases and software products.
- Solid understanding of standards, drawing specifications, technical and maintenance documents.
- Ability to provide technical support to other engineers.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multifunctional team and flexible hours to meet business needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with creating instructions and necessary tools or applications for process optimization.
