Key responsibilities & impact- Work alongside on-site intelligence analysts and operators to understand their missions
- Create innovative software solutions that streamline analyst workflows
- Design and develop software products interfacing with enterprise tools to increase intelligence value
- Catalog generated software for tracking and potential incorporation into an enterprise software baseline
- Develop proficiency in analytic tradecraft and translate operator problems into technical terms and technical constraints into operator terms
- Provide on-site integration, configuration, workflow automation, and troubleshooting support
- Diagnose problems in place and commit to a resolution path within 48 hours
- Capture and document use cases, capability gaps, workflow friction, and unmet mission needs
- Report observations on a defined cadence into the capability development roadmap
- Connect the enterprise analytic capability to adjacent mission systems and data sources
- Coordinate local workarounds with the core development team for enterprise-baseline incorporation
- Deliver hands-on training and best-practice support
- Operate within contract scope, site security requirements, and organizational-conflict-of-interest framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- 10+ years of operational intelligence experience in an analytic, targeting, collection, watch-floor environment, or direct software development support to these functions
- Technical fluency with analytic tools, data systems, and integrations
- Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and adapt fielded capability with users in real time
- Ability to work independently at a customer site with limited direct supervision
- Sound judgment in ambiguous conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to produce structured observation reporting for a technical audience
- Ability to communicate critical information to a geographically dispersed team across numerous time zones
- Willingness to relocate to or work extended assignments at the supported mission location, including OCONUS
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, intelligence, or related discipline, or equivalent operational experience
- Prior assignment at a joint or combined operational headquarters, national intelligence agency, or equivalent operational intelligence organization
- Familiarity with geospatial, multi-source, or object-based analytic platforms and their data architectures
- Experience in a forward-deployed engineer, embedded technical support, or field engineering role in a classified environment
- Working knowledge of scripting or data-transformation methods
- Polygraph preferred
