Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and support Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online
- Support Windows Server and Active Directory environments, including user access, group policies, identity management, and hybrid cloud integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, system, and service issues across cloud and on-premises environments
- Assist with system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and technology lifecycle activities
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions
- Monitor system health, performance, and security, and assist with remediation
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams
- Maintain technical documentation and follow operational, security, and change management processes
- Attend occasional maintenance, hardware installation, or troubleshooting activities at the Raleigh, NC data center once or twice per year
- Partner with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2–4 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure in a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role
- Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online
- Experience supporting Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid identity environments
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, endpoint, and cloud-related issues
- Familiarity with VMware and AWS is a plus
- Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Azure, or Windows infrastructure are a plus
- Ability to safely access and work in a data center environment, including lifting equipment up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and standing or walking for extended periods
- Must reside in the United States
- Sponsorship is not available; candidates must have appropriate work authorization
