Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct research, write requirements, develop models, define interfaces, and perform analysis within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
- Drive development of new program requirements and refine existing program requirements

- Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts using configuration management procedures
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper verification and validation of Systems Engineering artifacts
- Solicit stakeholder and team-member input, synthesize data, and communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Systems Engineer 2: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline
- Systems Engineer 3: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related professional/military experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related professional/military experience
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Experience interpreting, deriving, allocating, or managing technical requirements
- Experience with Python or another scripting language
- Experience with DOORS
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Preferred: experience with military aircraft or weapon system design and/or operation, including requirements verification and certification
- Preferred: experience with requirement decomposition and traceability from System to Unit/Supplier Specifications
- Preferred: experience with Cameo
- Preferred: experience with software development
- Preferred: experience with HW/SW integration testing
- Preferred: experience with Agile execution
- Preferred: experience managing suppliers with technical requirements and verification expectations
- Preferred: experience with DOORS DXL and DOORS administration
- Preferred: experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment software development for Aircraft Sustainment efforts
- Preferred: active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Preferred: active/current SAP clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
